This is part of the punchline to an old joke.  I think of it every time I hear a message about how we can’t all be hands and we can’t all be feet.  The body needs both.  The body of Christ needs us all.

Some lost people may need to be hit over the head with a 2×4.  Some may need a billboard – “When you’re drowning / In great big waves / Just remember / Jesus saves – Burma Shave.”  That might reach someone.  It wouldn’t reach me.  But something did.  Or rather, someone did.

Jesus spoke to crowds.  But also spoke to individuals in casual conversation.  He didn’t browbeat them.  He just talked.  From His heart.  About what they needed.  It was His nature.  He did what came naturally. If He has made you a new creation, you have a new nature.  Share what comes naturally.
