My daily devotional plan has me going through 1 and 2 Kings lately. A whole lot of kings of Israel and Judah who were terrible. There were many who lost their kingdoms because, even though they “followed the Lord,” they didn’t get rid of all the “high places” where the people were worshipping and sacrificing to other gods. They were good personally. But they didn’t protect those put in their charge.
It took me back to Eden. Adam was given charge over creation. But he was so busy naming animals and doing stuff, he took his eye off his duty to protect the whole organization he was entrusted with.
When was the last time you went out and “kicked the dirt” in your business?
